Vincent Woo
Managing Director
Mr. Woo is a Managing Director at Marwood and has completed real estate investment and development transactions with more than $1 billion in finished value since 2012. Vincent began his career as a technology entrepreneur, founding a variety of successful companies over the past two decades. Mr. Woo’s achievements and experience in the technology and start-up space have transferred directly into his ability to lead and quickly scale Marwood’s business to its full potential with a proven track record of real estate investment, development, and capital management. Focusing mainly on institutional-quality assets in the Western U.S., Mr. Woo is proud to partner with some the best capital partners and service providers in the industry.
Timothy McEnery
Managing Director
Mr. Timothy (Tim) McEnery is a Managing Director at Marwood as well as the Managing Director of Westcliff Financial LLC. He possesses over 23 years of institutional level experience in real estate capital markets, management consulting/business strategy and corporate sustainability. He has been involved in various executive positions working at both domestic and international levels leading teams of + 50 individuals. As a Managing Director of Marwood, his primary activities include involvement in all day-to-day operations related to the commercial portfolio, running the entitlement process for various development projects, and driving all the capital markets activities. Westcliff Financial, based in San Francisco, operates as a commercial real estate debt platform providing bridge products for commercial and residential properties.
Prior to Marwood, Tim worked for the Greenwich Group International (Greenwich) for 9 years. He managed the San Francisco office for the New York City-based Greenwich. He interacted daily with global institutional capital groups in the equity and debt markets to secure funding for clients by structuring joint ventures with developers/operators, institutional debt into distressed recapitalizations situations, construction financing or bridge financing, entity-level or platform acquisition programs and refinancing solutions for Chapter 11/Bankruptcy proceedings.
Prior to Greenwich, Tim was an executive for 13 years at the strategy management-consulting firm of Booz Allen Hamilton. He had extensive business consulting experience working with international and US-based clients providing financial and technical services, solutions, and management consulting into their organizations. He was a senior leader responsible for building and delivering a green buildings capability to clients possessing large-scale real estate portfolios. He led and participated in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide strategies and the development of sustainability strategies and plans. Prior to Booz Allen, Tim also worked as the Vice President of the International Division for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) responsible for implementing the LEED platform into various international markets.
Tim holds a double BA from the University of San Francisco (USF) in Politics and French where he received a 4-year scholarship and was captain of the Men’s Division I Soccer Team. Later, he played semi-professional soccer in France. He holds an MA from The American University in International Law/International Organization. Following graduate school, he was a consultant in international environmental policy with United Nations sub-agencies, the World Bank, the U.S, Department of State, and several NGOs. Tim is also a dual passport holder: US and EU. Tim is a native of Sunnyvale, CA.
Joyce Tseng
Director of Tax
Ms. Tseng is the Director of Tax at Marwood. Ms. Tseng joined Marwood in 2015. She brings to Marwood 15 years of industry experience in tax accounting at the corporate environment both domestically and internationally and at the Federal and State level.
Prior to joining Marwood, Ms. Tseng worked for both Nomi * Takaichi, a boutique multinational tax consulting firm and for Armanino, an independent accounting and business consulting firm. Her support at these consulting firms centered around advising and providing tax consultative services to national and international clients around creating global and domestic tax structures, preparing multi-state tax returns and disclosure filings, responding to audit requests, and preparing corporate and partnership returns.
Prior to Ms. Tseng’s experience in the corporate tax consulting environment, she worked as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) based out of San Jose, California. In that capacity, she planned and conducted on-site examinations and investigations of individuals and small businesses to determine their Federal tax liability. She coordinated regularly with taxpayers, their representatives, certified public accountants and attorneys, to apply a range of financial and other investigative skills to analyze intricate and complex accounting systems, business activities and financing.
Ms. Tseng received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
